India Reading Olympiad: Kids Carnival 

Cyient Foundation in collaboration with Food 4 Thought Foundation, hosted an India Reading Olympiad Literary Fest at Cyient Manikonda on 18th January, 2025. Approximately 800 associates attended the fest, making it a huge success. As part of the India Reading Olympiad, a number of events were held that day, such as the “Reading Decathlon,” storytelling sessions, an author’s corner, a kids’ reading and activity corner, with “My Books & My Cozy Corner”. The celebratory atmosphere was enhanced by a live band performance at the open atrium. To further engage children and create a more memorable event, the Food 4 Thought Foundation also set up four interactive stalls. The highlight of the event was the “Reading Decathlon”- A quiz competition in which 12 schools from across India competed in 10 intense rounds of reading challenges consisting of 200 questions. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kerala emerged as the winner of this thrilling competition.  

In addition, Cyient Foundation also hosted a “Kids Carnival” for associates’ children on the same day, featuring fun activities like painting, singing, dancing, and a one-minute speaking challenge. This was organized with support from the Cynchrony engagement team led by Sonia Srinkanth and Trinadh Kandukuri. 

The event was graced by senior leaderships, Prabhakar Atla, President and CFO of Cyient, and PNSV Narasimham, President & Head of Corporate Functions. They awarded certificates to participants and winners, highlighting Cyient Foundation’s unwavering commitment to sustainable education and literacy. 

Mr. Prabhakar Atla wonderfully encapsulated the heart of the occasion, adding, “Education is the cornerstone of societal progress,” underlining how efforts like this play a critical part in cultivating tomorrow’s leaders.
